During certain times of Palm Garden’s year, a radial Nova lights up the sky. The explosive result of the end of a star’s life, radiating its material and inspiration out into the universe, the Nova is a reminder of the creative worlds that came before Palm Garden. It’s a time for reflection and seeking out inspiration from the past and present.
Inklings that emerge under the sign of The Nova are spiritually minding, always thinking beyond the present moment. They are dreamers who see visions of what may come in their visions, but can sometimes forget that they too live in the present.

The Nova is a force of generation. A cloud of abundant resources, the stuff of new life and inspiration that floods Palm Garden with its treasures. The chaotic season that precedes it wanes and the shifts in Palm Garden’s landscape pause with only one force pulling at them: Exploration. What’s now on the surface is a plentiful harvest of newly revealed forms. Inklings love to explore while the lands are newly opened up - but beware because the new abundance also lures out unpredictable creatures and forces.

Your season begins with a flood of new opportunities, Nova. Where will you focus your energy as you explore and share your discoveries? Discovery can mean many different things to different Inklings. Some might seek out the unexplored iterritories and describe a new feature that’s emerged. Others may want to work on a social issue or create a new resource for the community. Let your passion be your guide.
The Galaxy ･○o｡. (18 Oct - 17 Nov) Grounded, Insightful, Complex
Lots of Inklings uncover new insights or elements of the world, but documenting them and the way they fit together is a talent as well. Helping others describe their insights, describe the connections, and share them widely is also a skill that can be honed. In the season of the Nova, those who can document will create new maps to guide the world.
The Comet ⋆ˊˎ- (18 Nov - 17 Dec) Impulsive, Brilliant, Shrewd
With the world so full of new discoveries, and Inklings flooding the landscape near their niches… Comets can fly farther into the wilds using their energy to break ground that others won’t yet visit. This is an opportunity and a strength… but don’t go so far you can’t come back, check in with others and make sure you’re sharing your discoveries. Pay attention to what others are sharing, or they may not be able to relate to your perspective.
The Nebula ◦∘ ൦∘ ◦ (18 Dec - 17 Jan) Broad-minded, Resourceful, Dreamy
This season you may feel overwhelmed by the possibilities that could be explored - or worse - left out of the adventures of others. While sometimes others venture out without you, sometimes the only Inkling holding you back is yourself, Nebula. Seek out a North Star or Galaxy and see if they’re looking for a collaborator that can be the key to unlocking a new piece of the world this season.
The Moon ｡˚☽˚｡ (18 Jan - 17 Feb) Reflective, Magnetic, Instinctual
While other Inklings are excitedly venturing into the unknown, looking for new inspiration. You may find yourself drawing inward, Moons. You may still be in the thrall of a project, or need to rest after a big effort. Maybe, just maybe, you’re also wary of what’s uncovered. Not all secrets or discoveries are pleasant or safe, and it’s not a bad thing to move forward slowly.

What a great season for a new adventure! Whether you want to lead or help document the journey of another, Inklings are seeking one another out again and you are here for it. Remember that as many Inklings want to know about your insights as to share their own, and make sure your perspective gets its own opportunity to shine.
The North Star -: ✧ :- (18 Mar - 17 Apr) Focused, Strategic, Perceptive
Few signs are as prepared for a big adventure as you are, North Stars, and building your team from Inklings excited to venture forth is the critical final step before you move forward. Share your ideas and vision with the community and be open to Inklings you haven’t worked with before. Pack enough for everyone - but try to be open to changes of plan.

Curiosity is one of your greatest strengths, and greatest weaknesses, Field. Make sure you share your stories, and share your journey with other Inklings this season. You might need someone to watch your back if you get absorbed by something unusual.
The Rings : ･ ┉ ൦┉。 (18 May - 17 Jun) Melodious, Captivating, Refined
Embrace your inner bard, Rings, and chronicle the saga of adventurous Inkling heroes as you venture forth in the season of the Nova. This explosive opportunity will make Inklings excited to travel, and they’ll need soundtracks for their journeys.
The Eclipse ━●━ (18 Jun - 17 July) Oblique, Exciting, Connecters
No Inkling is an Island. Well, maybe some of the Inklings of the Archaeapelago are actual islands - but you’ve heard the expression before, Eclipses. With all the exploration, someone needs to get everyone organized. Different Inklings have different skills, and you can see how they connect with each other better than many. See if you can help create some teams this season - the results may delight you.
The Convergence ˚•♦•˚(18 July - 17 Aug) Balanced, Harmonious, Observant
With Inklings rushing outwards into the unexplored iterritories - you may feel a pull back to your niche. Or to focus on the parts of Palm Garden that others aren’t looking at at the moment. For every season, there are new challenges that emerge. Did you see an idea that didn’t get enough credit? A bug that no one has fixed? A danger in the wilderness that no one is talking about?
The Binary ｡:●൦:* (18 Aug - 17 Sep) Supportive, Social, Collaborative
The season of the Nova is a time to quest and explore. As a strong collaborator, see if there’s a way to support another Inkling. Is there a part of their ideas that needs some development? A puzzle that needs another perspective to solve? Have someone’s back and hopefully they’ll have yours as well.
