The brightest star in Palm Garden’s sky, this star is the closest star to our world. Visible in the sky for the whole year, it traverses the axis of Palm Garden, guiding its creatures—regardless of where they are on the planet. This is a time to focus on goals and identify what is most important to each Inkling and each creative project. During this time of the year, many major questions are asked in the Forum and new big ideas are brought to light.
Inklings that emerge under the sign of The North Star are excellent planners, innately able to understand the core mission of a project, they guide the strategy of creative endeavors. Sometimes struggling to keep track of details, they are innately able to understand what’s important to big picture goals.

The North Star’s season begins as the North Star fills Palm Garden’s sky, its brilliance turning night to day. During this season night falls for only a few minutes in the garden and Inklings are drawn out of their niches into the lands beyond. The light reveals pathways and provides clarity for new endeavors, but balance can be illusive as light floods the landscape.

You’re going to thrive on this season’s energy, Fields, and it will fuel creative pursuits. Find a partner or set limits for yourself so that you take breaks and clear your mind - the world is full of easy to capture energy, but your mind and body will need downtime to make the best use of it.
The Rings : ･ ┉ ൦┉。 (18 May - 17 Jun) Melodious, Captivating, Refined
After a season of celebration - you may find yourself feeling drained this season, Rings. While the bright light of day can be inviting, it’s entirely valid to hide in your niche, wrap your train of thought around you and take time to recharge before you take on the next big thing.
The Eclipse ━●━ (18 Jun - 17 July) Oblique, Exciting, Connecters
Are you surprised that a season dominated by a blinding flood of light might not be your favorite, Eclipse? With such short nights, your internal clock will feel off at times, and don’t be surprised if anxieties crop up. Try not to be too grumpy - you know intuitively that truths exist in the light and darkness, and while things appear clear, you need darkness to find the edges.
The Convergence ˚•♦•˚(18 July - 17 Aug) Balanced, Harmonious, Observant
There’s a trip in the clear and visible light of the North Star, you can see where you’re going and want to get there as quickly as possible, but you might not realize when you’re pushing past your limits. When you begin to feel tired, rest! If you don’t take time for recovery, your body will take it for you when you may not be prepared for it.

You’re going to be inspired to put yourself out there, Binaries. Find a collaborator, go on that adventure, venture further and farther than you have tried before. Regardless of the outcome, you’ll learn a lot on the way.

As the season continues onward – you may find yourself overextended if you haven’t set personal boundaries or checked in with a collaborator to help guide your way.
The Nebula ◦∘ ൦∘ ◦ (18 Dec - 17 Jan) Broad-minded, Resourceful, Dreamy
The flood of light from the North Star is powerful, you’ll feel it pushing on you throughout this season. For some Nebulas, they thrive on light’s brilliance, mapping the world’s suddenly visible corners. For others, it is a time of prophecy, as the long days trigger profound visions and insights of what isn’t yet seen in Palm Garden.
The Moon ｡˚☽˚｡ (18 Jan - 17 Feb) Reflective, Magnetic, Instinctual
With so much light to reflect, you may feel the need to withdraw this season, Moons. While light can reveal it can also burn and as a creature of instinct you’ll know if this time of the year is going to be more productive in creation or in rest. Trust your intuition.
The Seven Sisters ･ﾟﾟ･｡∘ ﾟ(18 Feb - 17 Mar) Celebrative, Warm, Poetic
As the North Star rises, you’ll ask the question – is there such a thing as too much party? The length of days mean Inklings of all types are active, but after the excitement and glories of your season, it's natural to want to rest. Take that party nap, Seven Sisters, the world will be there when you’re ready for your next dramatic entrance.
