A cloud of swirling debris lights up the night sky during a special season of Palm Garden’s year. These swirling elements slowly spin closer and closer until they pressurize into a star, planets and a new place to begin in a far future. During the season of the Nebula, Inklings spend time traveling to the Primordial Soup Kitchen, finding inspiration and comfort in the communal creative energy.
Inklings that emerge under the sign of the Nebula are excellent brainstormers. Able to pick up ideas and examples from thin air, they have a broad and expansive mind, but may not find it as easy to define the major ideas or themes at the core of a creative idea. As their ideas swirl and flow, they may look to others to help them put their musings into a clear form.

After the catastrophic shifts of the Comet, an abundance of new life emerges in its wake. The Nebula follows the Comet each year in Palm Garden, sparkling as it absorbs new resources and energy in the swirling cloud of possibility. While it is under pressure, twisting and pulsing as it continues its million-year incubation of a new star - the Nebula is a reminder that life grows from chaos. Inklings return to their niches and life returns to its normal patterns in Palm Garden during the season of the Nebula. This season of restoration and recovery is a time to reflect and remember what is truly important to each Inkling.

As Inklings heal and restore their communal spaces in the wake of the season of the Comet, Nebulas thrive on picking up the pieces. By collecting resources that have shifted, and helping Inklings find things they need, or remove things they don’t from their lives, a new, more clear vision of what is meaningful to us comes into focus.
The Moon ｡˚☽˚｡ (18 Jan - 17 Feb) Reflective, Magnetic, Instinctual
If there’s one thing Moons are known for, it’s reflecting. Looking back on the past seasons’ events and how you might have done this or that thing differently is natural. But don’t spend so much time going backwards you forget to be present. As your thoughts meander, do something physical to break out of patterns, clean your niche, cook a meal. Take moments in the now.
The Seven Sisters ･ﾟﾟ･｡∘ ﾟ(18 Feb - 17 Mar) Celebrative, Warm, Poetic
Sometimes after difficult periods, people who have been very close suddenly start drama for seemingly no reason. This can be a response to being too close with their loved ones for too long - especially in times of stress. Even the most social creatures need time on their own, and you, Sevens, are not exceptions to this rule. Make sure you’re taking time to hang out with yourself too.

The pull to start a new project immediately after one ends can be powerful. To do your work real justice, North Stars, build in periods of rest when you switch your mindset. The season of the Nebula is one of rebirth, and inspirations are plentiful. The sturm and drang of remembered dangers, the quiet melodies of the eye of a storm, the sparkling notes of newly calmed waters. When starting a new creative journey, don’t forget the ballad of your own life experience, and take the time you need, the world is waiting to receive your next piece of art.
The Eclipse ━●━ (18 Jun - 17 July) Oblique, Exciting, Connecters
There is joy in the potential of rebuilding - yourself, your niche, your world. It’s ok to feel inspired by the detritus of a changed landscape, even if you feel it’s out of sync with the healing process of others. No one reacts to major events the same way, and they’re all valid. Avoid criticizing others for reacting in ways that make you uncomfortable, but your own reactions are valid and unique.
The Convergence ˚•♦•˚(18 July - 17 Aug) Balanced, Harmonious, Observant
Landscapes in Palm Garden have changed, and once the Nebula’s peaceful nature falls on the land. The urge to map its new contours begins. The drive to explore and discover may find you before you’re fully ready to push yourself. Listen to yourself, Inkling, and keep listening. Trust that your instincts to go forward, and to rest or return, are true and you’ll find your way.
The Binary ｡:●൦:* (18 Aug - 17 Sep) Supportive, Social, Collaborative
The season of the Nebula often inspires Inklings to draw close again, take this time to connect with loved ones in quiet ways. Remember that some will enjoy company, and others may need time to themselves. Most importantly, Binary, check in with yourself, what do you need? And while you often fill the needs of others, don’t be afraid to ask for what you want for yourself.
The Nova ━ ⋇ ━ (18 Sep - 17 Oct) Expansive, Esoteric, Visionary
How in touch are you with your spirit? In the aftermath of hectic times, don’t run from the deeper truths that you may push aside to deal with the urgent needs of the now. Do you need to be in your niche to connect with that side of yourself? Do you need to visit the wider world? If you don’t know, try a few things and see what they reveal.
The Galaxy ･○o｡. (18 Oct - 17 Nov) Grounded, Insightful, Complex
One piece of a community’s healing journey is collecting stories and recollections of crises. Encouraging others to share their view of major events, and collecting what has been shared is part of the history of Palm Garden built by all. Who haven’t you heard from? Would telling a friend be easier than telling the wider world? It can’t hurt to ask.
The Comet ⋆ˊˎ- (18 Nov - 17 Dec) Impulsive, Brilliant, Shrewd
Does the volume of your life feel muted? After dramatic events, daily life can feel very quiet. But as some senses may be dulled, others can become sharper. Listen to your body, Comets, and assess what they’re telling you from the tip of your train of thought to the adaptation of your membrane. When things are silent, take stock of where you are, and you’ll be prepared for the next thing.
