Oblique - Exciting - Connecters
Once each year, the orbiting moon obscures the light directed at Palm Garden, this casts echoing shadows across the surface of the world. While the eclipse itself lasts only for a few minutes, the season anticipating it is one for celebration and reflection. Feasts and revels bringing the year to the close invite each Inkling to share their new ideas and creations from the year.
Inklings that emerge under the sign of The Eclipse are masters of tension, anticipation and getting others excited. Understanding intuitively how to connect with others and invite them into projects or inspire them with ideas, they often look outside of themselves so much they forget that they too can be a worthy center of attention.

As the end of Palm Garden’s year draws close, the final season is a time of anticipation and excitement. Darkness grows long during this season, as in the past two seasons, Inklings are drawn to the cool of the night. With The Field’s creatures less surprising, and The Rings’ feast of sharing behind them, Inklings turn their attentions inward as the season takes hold. For many, this time is one of revelation, processing and integrating the insights of the Rings. For others, the long shadows bring personal work not yet accomplished to their attention - whether they think they’re ready or not. The Eclipse itself occurs for a single day, creating strange effects of light and triggering prophecy. But like each year, the wheels of the heavens turn and no moment lasts forever.

It’s easy to trip when you’re running towards something, and if you don’t keep your eyes on the steps in front of you, you might find yourself flat on your face.

A feeling of something just out of sight will tease at your senses in the season of the Eclipse. If you're in the wilds, beware, something may be hunting in the shadows. But sometimes, the answer is an unseen feeling, memory or instinct you’ll need to hunt out in your own feelings. What could it mean?

This season of prophecy, of different perspectives and shifting light is potent and can drive Inklings a little crazy. These overwhelming natural forces can guide you into new creative and imaginative spaces, or frustrate and overwhelm you if you fight the flow.

The dynamic tension that fills Palm Garden as it waits for the Eclipse is thick. You may find yourself jumpy with the energy and pull of expectation. What’s driving your mood may be the pull and push of the season - no matter how much you want it to be in your control.
The Comet ⋆ˊˎ- (18 Nov - 17 Dec) Impulsive, Brilliant, Shrewd
You’ll be inspired to push deeply into dark places this season, Comets. There are mysteries to unlock and secrets to uncover. While you’ll want to go it alone, be cautious about the scale of your ambition. You will have greater success with partners and a team - especially those who can add to your perspective on the complex mysteries of Palm Garden.

As you push yourself, don’t be surprised if you have a period of discord and struggle when encountering new challenges, but keep practicing and eventually your new skills will ring true.
