What is the DC NFT Marketplace?
The DC NFT Marketplace Beta is the official platform to buy and sell DC NFTs. Comic fans around the world can now buy and sell official DC NFTs between themselves. Users can buy and sell various tokens including DC FanDome 2021 NFTs, AMC ‘The Batman’ Posters, the DC Bat Cowl Collection, Gotham City Knightwatch District Sigil NFTs, and more to be announced.
How does an NFT Marketplace work?
NFT stands for non-fungible token. A token is a type of digital asset. A non-fungible token represents a unique digital asset like a work of art or a collectible. You can think of an NFT as a digital certificate of authenticity.
An NFT Marketplace is a platform that makes it simple to buy and sell digital goods. There are numerous marketplaces that have popped up around NFTs, which allow people to buy and sell. These include OpenSea, Rarible, Coinbase Marketplace, and more.

Step 1: Review Conditions of the DC NFT Marketplace Beta
A beta release is an early release of software that is given out to a large group of users to try under real conditions. Beta versions have already gone through initial testing in-house, although some features may not yet be available. For the beta release of the marketplace, some features — such as fund withdrawals — won’t be immediately available, but will be added soon.
If your country does not appear on the list for identity verification, that means we are currently unable to provide you with our services at this time.
Transfers of NFTs between different accounts are not currently available without selling the NFT on the secondary marketplace.

Step 2: Log in to the DC NFT Marketplace Beta
Anyone can browse and explore the DC NFT Marketplace, but if you want to buy or sell these digital collectibles, you’ll need a few things. First, you’ll need a DC NFT account if you don’t have one already.
To sign up for an account, click the ‘Sign Up’ button in the top right corner of the page (you must be 13 years or older to enter). You’ll be prompted for your email address, desired username, and password in order to register an account. Check your inbox for an email from us to verify your account — then proceed to log in.
Occasionally during the website experience, you may encounter a message saying ‘You are now in the queue.’ Because of high traffic and demand, this process may take a few minutes.
Step 3: Browse NFTs in the Marketplace
Once you’re logged in, head over to the Marketplace (Beta) tab in the menu.
Make your search easier using filters. You can:
Filter by name, e.g. “Jace Fox”, “Poster”, “Bat Cowl #90802”, “Bowery”
Filter by collection, e.g. “DC FanDome NFTs”, “The Batman”, “The Bat Cowl Collection”, “Gotham City District Knightwatch Sigils”
Filter by traits, e.g. “Common”, “Rare”, “Legendary”
Filter by status, e.g. “On Sale”, “My Listings”
You’ll be able to sort by newest listings as well as alphabetically and by price.
By purchasing or otherwise obtaining an NFT, you agree to the terms and conditions.
Step 4: Add DC NFTs To Your Cart
See an NFT that you like? Click on the item to view more details about the item’s description, traits, rarity, and selling price. Select ‘Buy NFT’ to start the checkout process.
Step 5: Confirm Your Purchase
Selecting the ‘Buy Now’ button will bring you to a checkout page where you can enter your billing and credit card information. You’ll be able to review service fees, taxes, and total amount before placing your order. Select ‘Confirm Purchase’ to complete your purchase.
The currency used in all credit and debit card transactions is the United States Dollar (USD). If you are paying with a card in a different currency, the exchange rate and any associated fees will be applied at the sole discretion of your bank.
Service fees are charged on all credit and debit purchases to help cover payment processing costs. This fee is viewable upon checkout and is always charged in USD.
In addition to credit and debit cards, DC NFTs can be purchased with a Credit Balance. Should you wish to purchase DC NFTs with a new or existing Credit Balance, see Step 8 of this guide.
You will receive an email with your purchase details after every purchase. These details can also be viewed in your Account History, which can be reached by clicking on your name in the top right corner of your DC NFT Account.
Step 6: Verify Your Identity (If Required)
During the purchase process, you may be required to complete identity verification should the total value of your NFT purchases exceed a certain amount, or should you choose to purchase credits. The purpose of completing identity verification is to ensure compliance with applicable financial laws and protect our collectors from fraud. Users will need to successfully pass the identity verification process in order to list NFTs for sale on the Marketplace, purchase Credits, or unlock a daily card purchase limit of $10,000.
The identity verification flow will guide you through three steps:
Fill out a form with some information including date of birth and legal name.
Take a picture of the front of a government-issued photo ID.
Take a selfie to ensure a match with your ID.
Once your documents have been submitted, the automated verification process generally takes a few minutes to complete, but can take up to a few hours during times of high traffic. You will receive an email notification with the result of your verification once it is complete.
Step 7: View Your DC NFT
If your NFT purchase was successful, you’ll get an email confirming this. Congratulations!
On the ‘My Collection’ page, you may see a notification alongside your newly purchased NFT saying ‘Transfer In Progress’. This status may remain for anywhere between several seconds to several minutes depending on blockchain network traffic.
When the transfer is complete, you’ll get a notification saying ‘Your NFT is ready in your collection!’ Enjoy your new NFT.
Step 8: Add Credits (If Desired) and View Account History
DC NFTs may be purchased with credit and debit cards or your existing Credit Balance. Your Credit Balance reflects the dollar value of purchases you can make on the NFT Marketplace. You may obtain credits by purchasing them using your credit card, or you may receive the proceeds of the sale of your NFTs in the form of a Credit Balance.
To purchase credits for the first time, click your username in the top right corner of the dashboard and select ‘Account Details’. Select ‘Credit Balance’ and then ‘Add Credits’. Then follow the prompts to add to your credit balance.
Your Credit Balance is provided solely by Circle Internet Financial, LLC. Credits have no monetary value or cash equivalent, do not constitute currency, cannot be transferred to other persons, and cannot currently be exchanged for cash or for any other goods and services outside of the Palm Network.
To review your account activity, click your username in the top right corner of the dashboard and select ‘Account History’.
